Senior CL ass Histo In the fall of 1955, sixty five eager freshies entered Eau Claire High School. Under the able guidance of our class sponsors, Mr. Dave Rose and Mr. Bob Rhinard, the following officers were chosen to manage our class: President, Chuck Marquis; Vice-President, Bruce Rakauski; Secretary, Sandy Kimball; Treas- urer, Bonnie Bardford; Reporter, Don Schlegel and Student Council Representative, Delbert Schlipp. In October we were properly initiated by the sophomores. Sixty four freshmen returned in the fall of 1956 as sophomores. This year we were sponsored by Mr. Beryl Bredon and Mr. JohnVucich. Class officers were chosen as follows: President, Don Schlegel; Vice-President, Bob Robinson; Secretary, Bruce Rakauski; Treasurer, Chuck Marquis; Reporter, Pete Korelich and Student Council Representative, Delbert Schlipp. In November we selected our class rings, and we received them soon after Christmas vacation. Our rings made us feel more at home at Eau Claire High School. Fifty nine of our classmates returned as juniors in the fall of 1957. Mr. Mark Green sponsored us for the year. Our class officers for the year were: President, Ed Robinson; Vice-President, Alvin Hassett, Secretary, Sandy Kimball; Treasurer, Bird Bielman; Reporter, LuJean Sedon and Student Council Repre- sentative, Delbert Schlipp. Shortly after school started we began planning for the prom with our prom ad- viser, Mr. Dave Rose. On April 18, die junior play cast presented The Great Scotts.” It was a big suc- cess. and we felt our director, Mr. Robert Rhinard, had much t do with it. On May 3 we honored the seniors at the prom. It took lots of hard work, but the night and day before the prom were the hardest. The theme was “Oriental Gardens,” and I’m sure it will not be soon forgotten by many of us. In the fall of 1958 fifty seven big seniors returned for their last year at Eau Claire High School. We were sponsored by Mr. TomKennedy and Miss Florence Emery. Class officers were chosen as follows: President, Seth Wagner; Vice-President, BobRobinson;Secretary,Sandy Kimball; Treasurer, Bonnie Brad- ford; Reporter, Jean Smith; and Student Council Representative, Jim Crowder. The senior play cast, under the direction of Mr. Tom Kennedy, presented a three-act comedy called, “The Professor Proposes” on the 21st and 22nd of November. Selling magazines was one of the ways we earned money to go on our senior trip. The exciting final months of our senior year included our senior prom, senior trip, and at last baccalaureate and commencement. These four years together will long be cherished in our memories. As our hours grow shorter and shorter, these memories grow dearer and dearer. We will always be grateful for all the help and advice our teachers have so willingly given to help us live up to our class motto, “Nothing succeeds like successi” CLASS COLORS: Blue and Silver CLASS FLOWER: Red Rose
