iH Joanne Froehlich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Froehlich, was born in Benton Harbor, August 7, 1938. Joanne has always lived in the Eau Claire area so therefore she attended the Eau Claire School from kindergarten through twelfth grade with the exception of her seventh and eighth grades which were spent at Grace Lutheran School. In high school her academic work consisted of majors in English, commercial, home economics and social studies; and minors in typing and science. Her extra curricular activities included one year of band, three years of chorus, two of which she served as secretary, class treasurer all four years, three years of F. H. A. serving as reporter her Sophomore year, vice- president of the Student Council in her Junior year, one year as secretary of the Commercial Club, one year as a cheerleader, and one year as a member of the Eager Beaver Staff. She also was included in the cast of the Junior Play and was a member of the Annual Staff her Senior year. The presentation of her Valedictorian address at com- mencement will close Joanne’s high school activities. Joanne’s future plans are to be either a secretary or an elementary teacher. Harold Korelich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Karn Jr., was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 13, 1938. He was nicknamed Dee. Dee lived in San Pedro, California, for the first eleven years of his life. He went to the 15th Street School through half of the sixth grade and then moved with his parents to Eau Claire and finished his schooling. Through the four years of high school. Dee major- ed in English, shop, mathematics, and social studies; and minored in Spanish. His extra curricular activities included one year in the F. F. A., president of the Sophomore class, president of the Student Council in his Senior year, one year of football and baseball, three years of junior varsity basketball, and one year of varsity basketball. He was one of the art editors of the Eager Beaver for two years, a member of both the Junior and Senior play casts, and a member of the Annual Staff in his Senior year. The presentation of his Salutatorian address at com- mencement will close Harold’s high school activities. Harold’s future plans are to enter the entertainment field, either in animated cartooning, or as a comedian. Be- fore such fame, he says he will probably go to college.
