To the students, teachers and community, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the fine job they have done in helping to make Eau Claire High School an educational institution we are proud of. Our academic program has developed in scope and efficiency as we have grown in the number of students who are attending our school. Our extra curricular program is one of the best and has an important part to take in the development of character in our young people. Basic to a strong future are the high schools and colleges of our country. As in the past, we have needed young people of intelligence, daring, ingenuity, and courage. In the future we will need young people of like calibre. Eau Claire High School will have a partin that future. She has produced many successful men and women now engaged in all forms of progressive and constructive work. Our boys and girls have gone from this high school into the highways and byways of life and have left behind them a way which others can follow with confidence and courage. As we look into the future we can see a continuous growth and development of the Eau Claire school system and leadership that will give the students the best there is to have. Our second year as a Class “C” High School has seen improvements all along the way. Bigger enrollments have meant new classes, more faculty members, more clubs, and over-flow in some sections. We saw our new athletic field take several steps nearer realization and many more contests won as well as more fine athletes in the making. It is reasonable to believe that as the physical body changes from childhood through adolescence, youth, to young adults, that each should develop a full rounded personality at the same time. We should not forget that as we are living in a most “incredible age,” we will need greater mental ability and capacity to enjoy our part in the bright new era that is just ahead. Thus, we are interested in developing our classes so as to best serve those who look to us for their higher education.
