Class V n em We've come to scnool every year. Taught and learned a lot of things; Held and made new friends so dear, Learned the Joy accomplishment brings. Our days at school are nearly done. Our desks will soon be clean; It took up four years, but we've won. We1ve reached the ambition of our dream. We say, good-bye, to our four years. We've had our Joy and fun; We leave, our eyes are filled with tears, A fond farewell to every one. By Calvin Prillwitz Class Acrostic E Every day we have spent here D Dim as memories one and all. As U Underclassmen, in every tier C Calm and eager each new fall, now this A Altitude we have gained. T Time only will tell, I In future deeds, what worth our lives have claimed. 0 Only our hands can guide the world, and N Nearer to success, we now press on. By Bill Prank Robert Tollas Elden Janke XeaainQ (Longing For You) You said you would never forget us, And we will remember you too. So why don't you think of us often, And we'll keep on thinking of you. Leaving, leaving, we're leaving you. Taking, taking, memories too. Daytime, nightime, what will we do. We'll Just keep on thinking of you. By Kay Kaiser Richard Knoth Margaret Karn Cia$$ Bistort I will now attempt to turn back the hands of time to 1914-9« Getting over our trembling pride of receiving our eighth grade diplomas, we are settling down to the task of being Green Freshmen, with Mr. Masten sponsoring our class of twenty-two, and Donald Schlipp, President; Vorle Thalmann, Vice President; Calvin Prillwitz, Secretary; Kay Kaiser, Treasurer; Bill Frank, Student Council Representative; Dixie Airgood, Reporter. We think the Seniors should have a private study room so the other Underclassmen couldn't bother them. We think the Seniors ought to be able to have their desk tops up all they want to, because they don't ever do anything wrong behind them. We think che Seniors of M$3n should have a double skip day just to be different from previous years. We Seniors wish Kiss Crapo wouldn't be so hard on us in her study halls. We think the Seniors should have full authority over the new gym. We think the Senior boys should have five minutes between classes, so we can talk to the iris. We wish Mr. Killer would let us take our guns when we go on field trips. Wouldn t it be nice if the Seniors could sit together dur- ing movies. We think the school ought to furnish easy chairs for the Government class. We Seniors don't bother anybody, so we think we ought to be able to sit anywhere and talk in the study halls without being interrupted by the teachers. Why do the Underclassmen have to go along on trips to the city, after all they have another year or two before they have to get a Job? Why can't the Juniors let the Seniors have all the profit from the Junior-Senior play, after all they have another year to catch their dough. We think the Underclassmen should give a big farewell par- ty for the Seniors, because they will really miss us when we're gone • We think we should be able to throw erasers at the Under- classmen and not have them returned at us, and not have the fear of being kicked out of school by Mr. Formsma. We wonder why the teachers think wo would lie to them if we would do something wrong, after all we're anxious to get out of school tool Why can't the Seniors park their cars right next to the door so we wouldn't get cold walking from the road? We Senior boys ought to have Private showers, so we v ould- n't have to listen to the childish jokes and remarks of the Underclassmen who are also playing basketball.
