Will We, the class of 1951, being of sound mind and body, and about to graduate form the Eau Claire High School, having learned all there is to be learned, do make this our last will and testament. Bob Peever wills the ability to run the duplicating machine to Mrs. Ferris. Verda Billings wills her ability to walk down the isles without knocking everyone out of their seats to Kay Kaiser. Mary Enders wills her ability to wear sweaters to Marian Auffert. Margaret Zuhl wills her hair-do to Beverly Hewitt. The government class wills the ability to co-operate with Mr. Prediger to the American History class. Ronnie Keigley wills his ability to keep a girl to Chuck Duncan. Ron Beilman wills his ability to not smoke to Ted Menchinger. Snookie wills her cheerleading ability to Marian Bennett. Shirley Repar wills her tallness to Josephine Wilbur. June Waldo wills her shyness to Beulah Hibbs. All the Senior boys on the basketball team will the underclassmen their wonderful playing ability. Don Hauht wills his manly physique to Verle Thalmann. Margie Tollas wills her good taste in clothes to Donna Peachey. Ron Beilmen wills his snazzy car to Don Schlipp. Stan Dohm wills his long hair to Dick Knoth. Class History Our class started out In 1947 with 34 enrolled. They were: Ronald Bellman, Verda Billings, Pete Blake, Alfred Cells, Stanley Dohm, Wanda Edmonson, Mary Enders, Violet Fryer, Shirley Grant, Rosalind Gustafson, Hazen Harner, Abreautus Hartwig, Carolyn Howard, Jane Howard, Carl Jones, Ronald Keigley, Kay Landon, Carline Linderoth, Leonard Patterson, Roy Peachey, Robert Peever, Betty Peterson, Shirley Repar, Harold Rock, LaVelva Scroggs, Floyd Slatton, Shirley Smithers, Oval Street, Jean Waldo, June Waldo, Charlotte Ward, Annie Lou Weaver, Sadie Weaver, Stanley Zech. The Class Officers for that year were: President, Floyd Slatton; Vice- President, Rosalind Gustafson; Secretary, Verda Billings; Treasurer, Shirley Grant; Student Council Representative, Mary Enders; Reporter, Hazen Harner. The Sophomore Class began with 30 enrolled. The new ones were: Eugene Allerton, Donald Hauht, Kenneth Leach, Esther Wright, Margaret Zuhl. The ones that dropped out were: Violet Fryer, Carl Jones, Kay Landon, Leonard Patterson, Shirley Smithers, Sadie Weaver, Annie Lou Weaver, Floyd Slatton left for the south after six weeks of school. The officers of that year were.: President, Floyd Slatton; Vice-President, Verda Billings, who later took over the Presidency; Secretary, Snookie Gustafson; Treasurer, Mary Enders; Student Council, Margaret Zuhl; Reporter, Mary Enders. In 1949, The Junior- year, there were 27 enrolled. The new ones were; Beverly Schiming, Floyd Slatton, Marjorie Tollas. Dropped out were: Pete Blake, Wanda Edmonson, Betty Peterson, Harold Rock, LaVelva Scroggs. The class officers were: President, Ronald Keigley; Vice-President, Mary Enders; Secretary, Snookie Gustafson: Treasurer, Verda Billings; Student Council Reporter, Stanley Dohm; Reporter, Margaret Zuhl. As Seniors we started out with 25. As it is now we have the following, Gene Allerton, Ronald Beilman, Verda Billings, Alfred Celis, Stan Dohm, Mary Enders, Shirley Grant, Rosalind Gustafson, Hazen Harner, Arebeautus Hartwig, Don Hauht, Jane Howard, Ron Keigley, Kay Landon, Ken Leach, Roy Peachey, Robert Peever, Shirley Repar, Floyd Slatton, Oval Street, Marjorie Tollas, Jean Waldo, June Waldo, Stan Zech, Margaret Zuhl.
