“THE NIFTY FIFTY Class Poem We are the Class of 1950, We are the first of the nifty fifties. We're here to tell you of our past. Seeing this year is our last. Of all the things that we have learned. This step toward the future we have turned. The time has come when we must part, But fond school memories will cling to our heart. We wish to thank our teachers all, Who have taught us to stand, not fall. And when in our future we will walk, More and more of these days we will talk. These days we will never again regain, Although we will not forget a single name. We are on the upward climb, And we know you’re not far behind. So be good and think of we. Who have successfully climbed the tree. As spring roses bloom and die. We will say our last goodbye. Written by-Joyce Classman Delores Heppler Paul Hibbs “DEAR E.C.H.S.” Class Song (Music of Forever And Ever) For ever and ever we'll be true to you, Dear E.C.H.S. we hail to you. For our fun and our learning, we give thanks to you, Dear old E.C.H.S., we’re proud we went to you. Let memories still linger forever. How teachers had to suffer all those years. But if they could see us when in society we have climbed, We are sure that they will all change their minds. We now have our future, To look forward too. With information we learned in our dear school, Soon we will be leaving, for destination unknown, Dear old t.C.H.S. we will be loyal to you. Written by-Delores Heppler Joyce Classman 14
