He also represents Eastern Nazarene at conferences, co-ordinates counseling ac- tivities, and is active in committee work. He serves as chairman of the Committee of Academic Standing and of the Division of Philosophy and Religion. Dr. Kauffman's main concern is to be a friend of students. Those who have been helped by his counseling or who have been motivated by his teaching agree that his aim is realized. His sincere and deep de- votion to God is exemplified in every phase of his life. Alvin H. As a friend and counsellor she tal-tes time out to pray with them over their spiritual struggles and misunderstandings and gives her own sincere testimony to the transforming power of Christ. Asa teacher ofliterature she correlates the best recorded thought of the ages with present day liv- ing. ln every way Dean Munro constantly emphasizes the value ofa Christ-centered education and is an outstanding example ofa Christian scholar.
