Fall Brings Excitement and Adjustments September 9, 1962, began like any normal Sunday in Richmond. The day was sunny and warm and there was a faint smell of autumn in the air. Then someone noticed that the traffic was heavier than usual, and, as the day progressed, it became worse. The invasion of Richmond had begun! The whole family got into the act as students established resi- dence on campus. No one has the touch like mother, whether she is helping daughter with her clothes or showing son how to make his bed. .tim 7 ' i
