More than a hundred girls are members of High- landettes, the pep squad at Eastern Hills. Members must provide their own uniforms and have a C, average in class work. Besides boosting athletic teams, members ushered at various school activities and were hostesses at the Indoor Track Meet and. at the convention for physical education teachers at Hotel Texas. Christmas Party Highlights German CIub's Year Highlight of the German Club's activities this year was the Christmas party held at Vicki Held's. Music was furnished by Art jameson and Vernon Boyd. Dennis Smith gave a comedy monologue, and several members presented a comedy skit. Other memorable events in- cluded a question and answer period with a teenage German girl, a spring picnic, and the presentation of colored slides of Germany. The group's representative in the beauty pageant was Vicki Held.
