The medley relay team of Dave Morgan, Paul Slayback, Larry Maiers and Bruce Tait lost only to Jackson's state cham- pion relay team and fin- ished second in the state meet themselves. ln dual meets Ken Haveman helped greatly toward the winning of the nine meets, includ- ing a 44-40 win over state champion Ann Ar- bor. He lost but three times during the season, once to the state cham- pion, and his diving will be missed next year.
