Interested in the scholarship of the students of
Eastern are its administrators, Mr. Wheeler and Mr.
Lott. They are shown here looking at the names of
the pupils who earned all A's during one of the mark-
ing periods. -
One of the duties of the Dean of Girls is to act as
an adviser to the Girls' League. Here, assisted by
Phyllis Leyrer, Miss Benjamin is selecting pupils to
participate in a style show.

The Guidance Directors play a necessary part in our school life. They arrange schedules for the incoming

Student Council OHicers
FIRST SEMESTER
The Student Council has completed a very success-
ful semester under the direction of the following
officers: Caroline Anderson, secretaryg John Cruthis,
vice-presidentg Ron Morgan, treasurerg Mr. Lott,
adviserg and Della Gaiduchik, president.
SECOND SEMESTER
The managing of the student government has been
ably handled this past semester by the Council officers:
Emil Jackinchuk, presidentg Mr. Lott, adviserg John
Cruthis, vice-presidentg Jacquie Marshall, secretaryg
and Bill Thompson, treasurer.
