Under the capable direction of Miss Kruse and Mrs. Gray, the girls enjoy a well balanced sports program during the various seasons of the school year. One day a week is devoted to Health Class with the emphasis on good grooming, posture, and health. This is done through educational movies and the use of newly purchased text- books. Struble The Girls' Athletic Association has grown considerably. not only in members but in importance. The chief objective of this organization is to promote interest among the girls in athletic activities, health, and sportsmanship. A meet- ing is held once each month to discuss and offer solutions to problems which arise. One of the many activities which the G.A.A. has undertaken is the annual presentation of a water pageant, featuring synchronized swim- ming.
