Weaver Reserve Football Boys on our two reserve teams gained needed experience which should make them valuable to the varsity next year. Our sophomores, coached by Charlie Hayden, showed outstanding promise. Their season was a very successful one. highlighted by their winning of the sophomore-junior game. Coach Sheathelm worked hard with his juniors, and, as a result, noticeable improvements took place in many prospective varsity players. Liozj

Coach Spitler A great deal of praise should be extended to Coach Eldred's cross-coun- try men. Although our squad was composed of only fifteen runners. in compari- son with the teams of fifty to seventy-live men from other schools, Eastern man- aged to place fourteenth in the state. Outstanding in- dividual performances were registered by John Bond, star runner since his sopho- more year, and Dean Mc- Kay, a newcomer to the track Held.
