'I' I' II If . 'IQI I, The Sensor Class :VI It' 'XI I' II :ffl Teachers College has just cause to be proud of the class of 1927. At last the I' impossible has been attained. It is not that this is the most intelligent class that I has ever graduatedg it is not that the members are the most handsome in appear- :QI anceg it is not that the class is the largest in number. This class is distinguished I in a wa f that 'ives its members more honor than those well deserved assertions. 'fl ,I 5 8 It :II It is simply this: the class of 1927 confides with reluctance its claim of being the If: I4 most modest and unassuming of Teachers College. III :QI Ig., For this reason little can be said of the quiet, dignified days of their freshman ' . . I II If' ear. In fact, the manner of the students and the hi 'li 'rades received then wouid 'II :ffl have led one to believe that they were Juniors or at least Sophomo-res. III III Is: Neither can it be said that the members of this class of 1927 have tried to :III monopolize all the offices of honor and influence in the different organizations of If the campus, but have taken such honors only when they were forced to accept III them because there were no others sufficiently qualified. I, I'l ld III :III This Senior 'Class has not attempted to dictate to the college faculty, as some It others have done. Only one day in the senior year did they demand the privilege II of showing how a college should be managed, and on that day a high degree of II efficiency in teaching was demonstrated. Ii I'I III III :JE F or four years members of the. Senior Class have gone quietly and humbly about :Ill the business of acquiring knowledge. Until commencement time, no one, not evcn :QI the instructors, know of their rich possessions, but now that the Seniors are about If' to venture out into life, they can no longer keep the secret.
