The four years spent within these walls of learning should be looked back upon in years to come as being full of joy and honest hard-work and as having afforded us the greatest privilege of life: the building of friendships cemented permanently and unvaryingly. To bring back these fond memories which are past and to afford many hours of entertainment should be the purpose of this year book. If in years to come you can adjust your spectacles and spend an enjoyable hour or two with the June Bugw, watching your many friends herein go trooping by in silence, the members of the Annual Board will feel amply repaid for their efforts. 'Here you will find the faces of many of your schoolmates, some of whom appear often, others less frequently, many have won distinction through their individual attainments in athletics, social activities or scholarship. As members of the class we should appreciate the good fortune of having an Annual in spite of the usual hubbub that occurs each year concerning this project. Although the realization of its appearance seemed at times rather vague and uncertain, all obstacles were finally overcome and petty trifles smoothed out. Being school folk with the rest of the class, the staff, with French, Spanish, algebra, physics and a few other graduation rcquisites to take their spare time, may have made mistakes and if a few have found their way within these covers we hope that our readers will be fairly considerate of them.. It is necessary here to make known our appreciation of the wonderful co-opera- tion of our faculty advisers: Miss Maud Bruckshaw, for her helpful suggestions and untiring efforts in the editorial department, O. J. Peeling, for his splendid aid in making both ends meet in financing the book, and Miss Elizabeth Sudborough for checking over the senior names and activities. The staff also wishes to thank all of those students who have contributed in various ways with advertisements or other assistance. Lastly the editor wishes to express his appreciation and gratitude to those of the Annual Board who have laid aside all consideration of personal pleasure and have given generously of their time and energy to the production of this book.
