White out please1 IHSIVISS AS USUAL On May 7th, 1983, the Newark Bustness Skis Olympics were held at Malcolm X Shabazz High School. Three students for each section Steno I and I, Typing I and I, Advanced Typing and Bookkeeping I and I were chosen to represent each school in the district The actual testing Deg an at 9:00 A M with half an hour of practice and then on to the main events which lasted until 11 00 A. M. Lunch was served while the contestants nervously awaited the results Everyone was on the edge of their seats while the judges announced the decisions One of the winners was Michelle Cynar who won second place in Steno H, another was Anabela Barandas who won third place m Typing D. Our Math programs consist of courses such as Algebra I, Algebra I. and Geometry, as we« as Trigonometry with Advanced Algebra, and Computer Math for the college bound student Our Science progrom contains courses such os Earth Science. Biology. Physics and Chemistry which include a separate lab class which is attended twice a week.
