The art classes give students a chonce to express their feelings ond ideas through their art work. There are Music Foundation classes, which give students an understanding of the history of music In the instrumental classes, students are given a chance to learn how to play an instrument of their choice. If they learn how to play this instrument weS. they can jon the school band or orchestra. The Chorus classes help students improve their singing Recently. Mr. Ransom, the Director of Fine Arts and Media, brought with him a group of professional musicians who displayed their many talents. By doing so. they were an inspiration to many of our music oriented students. Despt© the setback, homeroom started at 8:30 every morning, but this d d not mean that everyone was m their homerooms by 8:30. they were st on the long voyage from their lockers to homeroom. Homeroom is a time to get yourself organized for the day This is where we see our guidance counselors from time to tme as wei as our Senior Advisor, who gves us reformation about what's happening If you're lucky you con also hear the announcements. Our favorite day is Wednesday where we have Respite for Reading'', an extended homeroom where we are to read for 15 minutes. Congratulations1 145 SEiVIOKITIS-CATCH it: To words the end of senior year many seniors catch a dreadful disease - seniority This disease common to many members of the senior class has distinct symptoms It starts by grodualy being late for class or hanging by the lockers with friends, not doing homework, or not studying at an until the lost minute for a big exam. Then you stop bringing notebooks, and pens to clas thinking that you have a photographic memory As graudtion day come closer me condition worsens. Seniors spend the-time day dreaming about walking down the orsle to receive their diplomas, prom dates and college acceptances. The only cure for this disease is graduation - one that always works.
