The major focus of this club is to help our school appreciate the his- tory of our country and the contri- butions of men and women of the past. Anyone who has taken a course in social studies and passed it or has an interest in His- tory may become a member. The History Club sponsored the Home: coming Dance, helped needy fam- ilies at Christmas, and raised mon- ey for new curtains for the stage. Being an active club, it had many projects planned throughout the year. Regular meetings were held. Also, in observance of Foreign Language Week, a poster contest was held. The Span- ish Club also scheduled a dinner with those attending dressed in traditional costumes from Spanish-speaking nations. Dues are$ 1.00.
