Mrs. Mildred Cochran, born on December 2, has spent seventeen years at East. She teaches Physical Science. She enjoys read- ing and needle point. 20 Faculty “| love it when a plan comes together’ Claudius Brooks Mrs. Charlotte Connor, born on November 27 has been at East for seven years. She teaches English 10A, 11H, and 10I. She sponsors the Sr. Beta Club and Hi-Q Team. She is also a member of the NCAE-NEA. Mrs. Suzanne Covington, born January 5, has been here at East for sixteen years, where she works in the office. She has received an advanced secretarial degree from Howard's Business College. She en- joys painting, cross-stitch and reading. He has received a M.A., I}id. degree from Western Carolina Universi- y and he teaches Marketing, Marketing and Merchandising, Conference Planning, coordination of Cooperative Programs. He sponsors the Deca Club. Mr. Campbell en- )0ys fishing and working with wood crafts. Mrs. Elsie Cannon, born April 24, has spent fifteen years at East. She teaches Phsyical Science 320 and Physical Science 355. She sponsors the Pep Club, Science Club, Afro- American Club, and the Jr.-Sr. Planning Committee. Mrs. Cannon is also a member of the NEA, NCAE, NCSTA, and NSTA. Your life is exactly what you as an individual malse of it. Mr. Alan Carver, born February 413, has been teaching here at East for ten years. He has received a M.A. degree from Appa- lachian State University. He teaches Soci- ology, Current Affairs, and Government E- conomics 401. Mr. Carver sponsors Jr. Civi- tans. He is also a deacon for the Second Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. Mr. Max Champion, born August 34, has been teaching for ten years here at East. He has received a B.S. degree from Appa- lachian State University and he teaches Driver's Education.
