Wile Mr. Rupert Blanton, born on March 11, has been teaching for fifteen years here at East. He has received an Doctorate (Ed. D.) degree from the University of N.C. in Greensboro. He teaches introd. — T I, 1CT | and Il, and Field Coordination. He enjoys reading and walking. Mrs. Jackie Bridges, born October 19, has spent one year at East. She teaches Introduction to Computers, Typing |, and Basic Business. She sponsors the FBLA and enjoys doing. cross-stitch and playing golf. “Be A Helping Hand For All’ — Dan Beason ARE TALKING ABO Mr. Robert Abrahams, born on May 17, has spent five years at East, where he is a worker in the cafeteria. Mr. Dan Beason, born on August 9, has spent eighteen years at East. He has re- ceived a M.A. degree from U.N.C. Charlotte and he is the head coach of the boys Varsi- ty Basketball team. Mrs. Marjorie Arrowood, born on De- cember 30, has been teaching here at East for six years. She has received a M.A. de- gree from State University of New York and she teaches English 91, and 9C. Mrs. Arrowood is also a member of the PATH volunteer organization. Mr. Jim Bridges, born April 18, has been here at-East for nineteen years. He has Mrs. Judy Brantley, born on June 16, has spent sixteen years at East, where she Miss Jane Biggerstaff, born on October 14, has spent three years at East. She has re- ceived an M.A. degree from Appalachian State University. She enjoys sports. teaches French I, Il, and Ill. She sponsors the French Club, and French Honor Club. She enjoys Art and Hunting and belongs to the Gideons — Ladies’ Auxiliary. 18 Faculty received a M.A. degree from Appalachian State University and he teaches AV, AV Instruction, French I. He is co-sponsor of the Media Club. Mr. Bridges is also a member of the Gilkey Ruritan Club.
