The Leo Club provided a service to our school and community by helping the blind and the handi- capped. They are sponsored by the Forest City Lions Club. There are no requirements except dues of $4.00 and a willingness to help those less fortunate. Club activities are: Lions Club calendar sale, Teach- ers Appreciation, candy sales, and Lions Corsage sale. Western Carolina Correction Center's David Lambert Helped By Keywanettes. The Keywanettes are a service club for any high schoo! girl interested in helping needy people and organiza- tions. One requirement for the Keywanettes is a ā€œCā€ā€™ average. The yearly dues are $4.00. Activities for the Keywanettes are: a peanut sale, Western Carolina Cen- ter visits, candy sale, bake sale, to sponsor a child at Christmas, and other fund-raising projects. The Keywan- ettes also sponsor David Lambert, a student at Western Carolina Center. Daily Courier Publishes Cavilier News Cavalier Corner is the school news- paper which acquaints people all over the county with information and happenings at East Rutherford High School. The members of the Cavalier Corner plan the school news page featured in the Daily Courier appearing once a month during the school year.
