Western Carolina Correction Center's David Lambert Helped By Keywanettes. The Keywanettes are a service club for any high schoo! girl interested in helping needy people and organiza- tions. One requirement for the Keywanettes is a “C”’ average. The yearly dues are $4.00. Activities for the Keywanettes are: a peanut sale, Western Carolina Cen- ter visits, candy sale, bake sale, to sponsor a child at Christmas, and other fund-raising projects. The Key Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. The main objective of Key Club is to sponsor the Red Cross bloodmobile visit to East. Throughout the year they are involved in many activities including a peanut sale, candy sale, doughnut sale, helping with PATH house, helping with the “Lights of Love’’, and attending the Kiwanis ban- quet. They also attend Key Club Convention — this year in Green- ville, §.C. The Key Club consits of 34 members. The Leo Club provided a service to our school and community by helping the blind and the handi- capped. They are sponsored by the Forest City Lions Club.
