The major purpose of the Future Farmers of America is to develop ag- riculture leadership, cooperation and citizenship. To become a member of the FFA is to be taking agriculture. Some of the activities the FFA is in- volved in in a soil judging contest, rooting plants in a greenhouse, and cattle judging. Students who wish to join V.I.C.A. must be enrolled in a trade and industrial education class such as Textiles, I.C.T., Carpentry, or Auto Mechanics and pay dues of $5.25. This year V.I.C.A. sponsored a car wash, had a yard sale, bake sale, and newspaper sale, and attended two district conferences.
