eae Enh ae The F.B.L.A. organization strives to provide students with opportunities to explore business careers and to encourage leadership in school and community activities. To be a member one must presently be taking a business course, planning on a business major, and pay $7.50 in dues. Some F.B.L.A. activi- ties include publishing a directory for the students, sponsoring a Christmas party for handicapped chil- dren, attending leadership conferences and com- petitive events, and providing a reception for school secretaries during National Secretary Week. Students who wish to join V.I.C.A. must be enrolled in a trade and industrial education class such as Textiles, I.C.T., Carpentry, or Auto Mechanics and pay dues of $5.25. This year V.I.C.A. sponsored a car wash, had a yard sale, bake sale, and newspaper sale, and attended two district conferences.
