118 Special Interest The Hiking club was designed for the people who have an appreciation for nature. This club allows its members to enjoy and learn about their wilderness areas. They are taught the basic skills of backpacking and camping. Each member is required to pay a $5.00 fee which in return they can be involved in many fieldtrips to places like Bob’s Creek Wilder- ness, Linville Gorge, Pisguah Forest, and even the Great Smoky Mountains.
