Fruitbaskets were taken to Edgewood, and Christmas carols were sung at Fair Ha- ven. They had a Christmas party and took a trip to Charlotte to visit Discovery Place and Eastland Mall. The purpose of the Math Club is to help those in their math classes that need it and to develop leadership ability. The students should maintain a “'C” average in their math classes and attend meetings regu- larly. The dues are 1.00. Clubs 169

Gary This year the Leo Club participated in many activities. They sold balloons for the Homecoming game, had a bake sale, and a Leo picnic. They also did a skit for Homecom- ing and participated in the decorate-a-door contest. If a death in the family of a teacher, the club donates $10 to the teacher. The members took a trip to Charlotte for shopping and ice skating. They visited a rest home and had a clothing drive for a needy student. The club has a Christmas party and a Valentine project. The purpose of the Leo Club is to assist the Lions Club in aiding the blind, handicapped, and needy in our school and community. Dues are $2.50.
