Dr. Louis Dr. Louis, the superintendent of our school, has shown the type of leadership expected from a man in his position. His wise decisions have made East Rockaway High's students proud of their small school. Let's hope the progress never ends.

Special Thanks We, the Class of ’74, wish to express our deep gratitude to Mr. Gerald Honig, without whose help the production of this yearbook would have been impossible. Faced with the demanding task of deadlines, Mr. Honig always seemed to be a source of encouragement and guidance. Our magazine drive would not have been successful without his inspiration and determination to make it so. Years from now this yearbook will serve as a looking glass through which we can review our four years at East Rockaway High School. We will always remember Mr. Honig's invaluable help as we glance through the pages.

Mr. Freund When Mr. Freund took over the job as Assistant Principal 2 years ago he was well-prepared. Formerly as Dean of Students he was able to win over the student body with his humor, friendliness, and competence. As Assistant Principal he has shown how capably he can run the school curriculum and help students with their problems. Mr. Morse Mr. Morse has been Principal of our school for several years. He is a modern, up-to-date Principal and has tried to bring helpful reforms to our school. He has also taken a personal interest in the students. His understanding and administrative ability have won him the respect and admiration of the student body. Mr. Crowley The position of Dean of Students is one of controversy which takes a special kind of person to fulfill. This difficult job requires patience and a unique personality, both of which Mr. Crowley possesses. He has succeeded in instituting and sustaining discipline at ERHS. His devotion to the students is evident as he solves daily conflicts. We are fortunate to have a man like Mr. Crowley working with us.
