Appreciation We can barely remember that frantic day in June, 1970 when the newly-born class of 1974 met for the first time. The class was a turbulent mass of chaos and confusion when we made our first big decision and elected you class advisor. Four years and four Rock Rivalries later, you have made us immeasurably proud of our decision. The seeds of unity and cooperation you planted in the roots of our class blossomed over the past four years into the success of the prom, fundraising drives and rock rivalries. We could truly fill every page of this yearbook expressing our intense appreciation and gratification for all the time, energy, and understanding you have given us. Though we use two small words to express our sentiments, they come from deep within 162 hearts. From all of us to you we sincerely say thank you, for everything. Special Thanks We, the Class of ’74, wish to express our deep gratitude to Mr. Gerald Honig, without whose help the production of this yearbook would have been impossible. Faced with the demanding task of deadlines, Mr. Honig always seemed to be a source of encouragement and guidance. Our magazine drive would not have been successful without his inspiration and determination to make it so. Years from now this yearbook will serve as a looking glass through which we can review our four years at East Rockaway High School. We will always remember Mr. Honig's invaluable help as we glance through the pages.
