His plans for the future include attending technical school and joining the Air Force. RICHARD DOREMUS An active member of East Rockaway’s athletic department, Dick has received awards for baseball, basketball and football. A true sportsman, he also enjoys hunting and fishing. Dick would like to attend college after graduation. LINDA EATON Linda can be spotted immedi- ately with her long, blonde hair. She enjoys clothes, parties, talking, driving, movies and painting. MICHAEL DESSART A tall, good looking, easy- going boy, Mickey is one of our basketball stars. He enjoys playing his drums, eating, sleeping, and driving. Mickey plans to go to college or to join the Marines. MARIE DIETRICH A willing worker in the secretarial department, Marie enjoys watching TV, eating and horseback riding. Knitting and shopping in Hempstead fill her free time. Marie plans to be a secretary when she gets out of high school. JEAN DILLON This quiet little miss, who enjoys driving and picnic parties, can usually be found assisting Mrs. Lally in the health room. After graduation from East Rockaway, Jean plans to go to business school and to be a career girl. 22

PEGGY FEIL Peggy, tall and slim, is an amiable member of the commercial department at East Rockaway. Usually found laughing with her classmates, she intends to work after graduation. ROBERT FORDHAM An active musician, Rob- bie participates in the band, the chorus, and the singers. He enjoys bowling, dancing, and going to parties whenever he isn’t at work. This supersalesman plans to go to college after he graduates. ERIKA FELTKAMP This tall, good natural Modern Miss can often be found on the athletic field. She enjoys singing in the chorus, driving, and just having fun, and plans to be an elementary school teacher. 24
