DEDICATION The class of 1950 is leaving E.R.H.S.; perhaps we shall forget many things about our Alma Mater, but we shall take with us always the memory of Albert S. Tutunjian. We cannot express in words our feeling for Mr. T.” He has stood by us through all our troubles and difficulties. We will long remember his work on the Senior Play; his terrific parties; and his performance in Mama’s Baby Boy.” He pulled us through two successful Rock Rivalries and he has been our counselor, friend and pal since the day he walked up the gang plank. There was never a question to whom we should dedicate our Rock.” Our undebated choice is Mr. T”—for service far and above the call of duty.” Our relationship as teacher and student ends this year but our friendships will last as long as life itself. Individual instruction is the keynote lor Mechanical Drawing. Mr. T’s” secretaries and drawing experts. Duke, Greg, Dick, Johnny, Al, Mr. T (at the He teaches Algebra too! dumbag) and Hio comprise the Union City A. G. A. U. Kefchees. 3

FOREWORD From our first days at East Rockaway, we have realized the time would come when we would publish a yearbook of our own. We chose our theme, the Spanish Main, because we feel that like the buccaneers of old, our lives have been filled with hard work as well as laughter, gaiety, music and deviltry. In our ROCK we have tried to record all our memories and the people connected with them, as well as our future plans. The senior class proudly presents as its final undertaking, the ROCK for 1950.
