Our anxiety was linally quelleil when some ol' the more worlally-wisc members informeml us that this was none other than the ncw principal, Mr. 'l'heo4lorc li. H. Morgan. Anal we hail thought him to be a l4'resluuan! Nevertheless we ailapteil ourselves with remark- able ease to high school lil'e anal, in a short time, the well-known green was quickly failing out. lt was not until the Sophomore year, however, that we became more important. lhu'ing.g' this year, many members ot' our class became outstanding in ilramatics, athletics, publications, anal musical activities. Also, to make the year a complete success, the class ol' '34 was the winncr ol' the Olympic Trophy. Our biggest event was the Junior Prom. 'l'hc gymnasium was uniquely clecoratetl anil, in spite of the visit ol' .lupe l'luvius, the clance proved a great success. A Junior Picnic was hchl at lluranil Eastman and a. little later our class gave a picnic l'or the Senior Class. The class of 19234 again carried off the Olympic honors and was presented the trophy. Our Senior year was markeml with several accomplishments. The lirst. big' success oi' this year was our Senior Ball which was again hehl during' a rainstorm.
