To the Class of 1955 Thls year we not only bld farewell to the Class of l955 but also to the Old Woodward Hlgh School Bulldlng Slnce l9lO, East Nlght has had a pleasant home Wlth1H these classlc walls Our Class of l955 wlll be the forty flfth to have com pleted work for graduatlon lH thls bulldlng Durlng all these years there have been only three prlnclpals Mr Albert Schwartz moved hls school here from Peaslee By l9ll hls l2OO enrollment had lncreased to 3500 The next year lt Jumped to H500 and lt was necessary to use the Peaslee Publlc School as a colony The blg enrollments and the long tenure of Mr Schwartz ended 1D l93O For the fOllOWlHg flve years, Mr Ralph Wllbur was the prlnclpal From l935 to the present tlme, Mr Harold knowledge and lmprove themselves The Class of l955 has made a good lmpFSSSlOD.OH prlnclpal and teachers How falthfully and earnestly, the members of thls outstandlng class have applled themselves nlght after nlght through the years spent at East Nlght Surely, we wlsh the Class of l955 all success, as they go on to the Unlverslty or lnto better posltlons 1D buslness or lndustry To the Old Woodward Hlgh School Bulldlng, we say Bon Voyage For llke an old shlp wlth a new name, thls old bulld lng wlll launch forth next September as the Ablgall Cutter Jun lor Hlgh School We trust these younger boys and glrls may catch the sp1r1t of Old Woodward and East Nlght that have been here so long H E Inskeep . . , Inskeep has watched the eagerness of East Nighters to gain I . . . . .
