This year every man, woman, and child in the nation will use the equivalent of a 100-foot tree — for lumber, plywood and other wood panels, paper, packaging, and many other products made from wood and wood fiber. Fortunately, trees are one of the nation ' s renewable resources. To replace the trees we harvest, we ' re planting new forests at a record pace — more than 150 million trees annually.
