Safety. 74 Coach Dobias Produces Winner In Second Year Squad Boasts Leaguers Most Explosive Offense And SchooPs Stingiest Defense Ever Forcing the pass — Co-captain Dick Dion (83) and Pete Chipouras force the Commerce quarterback to hurry his pass. Pressure like this caused two interceptions in the 33-0 shutout victory. HV A gaping hole — Gary Halon rips into the Palmer secondary after some fine blocking by the offensive line. Gary tallied 4 touchdowns during the course of the season. Left — Sticky fingers — Fullback Bob Bailey pulls in a pass for a first down. Bob is just one of a wealth of running backs who will be back in uniform next season. His crushing blocks and powerful runs were vital to the Spartan ' s offensive success. Above — Pride of the J.V. — Members of the kickoff team Vinnie Villamaino (64), Paul Nuzzolilli (65) and an unidentifiable Spartan bottle up a Palmer kickoff returner. Closing in from the outside is George Sakakeeny (66). Right — All-League Form — Using his size 12 to good advantage Tom McCabe bangs a kickoff downfield. Roy made several key receptions during the course of the season including one against the Longmeadow varsity to set up a touchdown. Dropped for a loss — A South Hadley ball carrier is about to be dumped by Clark Taylor, George Sak- akeeny and Steve Lancor. The J.
