'SEN 1'- Dixie Hill VALEDICTORIAN-Intelligent and clever, Dixie eamed the respect of both students and teachers. She achieved several scholastic awards such as the Bausch and Lomb Science Award. Dixie was also active in clubs. She was President of Science Club, Treasurer of National Honor Society. and Club Editor of the Yearbook. She had a lead part in the Senior Play. A fine leader, Dixie contributed much to ELHS. 4' 'X '., i it ' at 'N- x Irene McSwegin VALEDICTORIAN-Friendly and vi- vacious Irene was well liked by all. She excelled in many activities. She was a member of Band and Orches- tra and received the Outstanding Bandsman Award. She was piano ac- companist for the choir and an active member in choral groups. Always popular with the students, she was chosen to attend Cirls' State and was elected Secretary of the Hi-Tri. Cap- able and dependable, Irene well de- served to be Valedictorian. Mike Kapp SALUTATORIAN-Energetic and ac- tive, Mike was very popular with the students and faculty of ELHS. An ex- cellent athlete, he participated in football and baseball for four years. He was vice-president of National Honor Society and treasurer of Key Club. He was chosen to attend Buck- eye Boys' State and was elected a member of Cabinets for three years.
