The old, old adage, All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, still held for us. To know that we would be able to express ourselves later in life through the arts, as well as curricular knowledge, made us feel much happier about life in general. Physical education strengthened our bodies, music gi! gave us additional training vocally and instrument- ally, and industrial arts taught us to make things, design, paint and draw plans, speech arts gave us 6, confidence and pleasure through mastery of oral W thought expression.
