ADMINISTRATION AND BOARD OF Guiding the operation of a large school is no small task. As future citizens, young people need the backing of a wise and efficient administration. Mr. Wade A. Steel, as Leyden's superintendent for the past five years, provides leadership in helping make Leyden a school where the student can prepare himself well for the future. Since the passage of the bond issue for West Leyden High School, Mr. Steel has devoted a large portion of his time and efforts to plans for the new school. Working with Mr. Steel in the guidance of the school is assistant superintendent Walter D. Stille. Mr. Stille offers the students leadership in the areas of arrangement of schedules, student guidance, student personnel management, and the scheduling of events via the school official calendar.
