Always ready with a helping hand and iriendly smile these hardworking people strive to make every student a happy Leydenite. No problem is too big or too small to re- ceive the complete attention ol the Leyden Six. All problems would remain unsolved il it wasn't for our counselors, the guiding lights of the Leyden Citizens of Tomor- il row . Leyden Boys' Counselors, working out the problems of Leyden Citizens of Tomorrow . Pictured are Mr. Jerome Mohr-husen, dean of freshmen and sophomore boys, Roys' Club advisor, L Club advisor, and Cross Country Coach; and Mr. Henry Kennedy, dean of junior and senior boys and Student Council co-sponsor. Guiding Leyden girls toward a better future are. Miss Alice Jones, dean of senior and freshmen girls, Girls' League advisor, and Curriculum Coordinating Committee member; and Miss Gertrude Wilson, dean of sophomore and junior girls, and Girls' League advisor. Special helpers for special problems are: Mrs. Nell Will, Problem Counselor, and Mr. Richard Perry, Speech Correc-tionist, sophomore football coach, and assistant track coach.

ADMINISTRATORS ... . . . LEAD SCHOOL As Chief Executive of the Board of Education of Leyden Community High School for the past four years. Wade A. Steel has guided the ever growing faculty and administration in creating the Leyden Citizen of Tomorrow . Decisions he makes every day help to make Leyden a smooth working organization. true to its purpose of sending men and women into the world who are true Leyden citizens. Mr Wade A. Steel .Superintendent Mr. Walter D. Stille Assistant Superintendent Walter D. Stille, assistant superintendent, has been responsible for the arrangement of student and faculty schedules, advising curncu lum study, and supervising the faculty for the past three years. He is also responsible for guiding students entering and leaving Leyden. His aid is constantly felt by the ever increasing student body as they move through Leyden on the road that leads to the Leyden Citizen of Tomorrow '. R. C. Freytag, business manager, as financial liason representative of the Board of Education, is responsible for the proposal of all budqets, financial expenditures, procedures and policies dealing with the business phases of Leyden's operation, and the purchase of all equipment. In his second year, Mr. Freytaq has fostered a cooperative program of the Board and Ad ministration with the -students' educational re quirements to provide those things which are necessary for the adequate development of the Leyden Citizen of Tomorrow .
