The day Miss Winston, Social Worker, played by Judy Green, came to the cottage proved to be very eventful. She predicted trouble for the family when they decided to adopt the crippled boy, .Timmy John, Mickey Mickelson. J immy John proved to be a challenge to the Roses and him- self, but was loved by all, He and our cherub friend had great times together especially during rehearsals when our chum rode around on J immy's crutches. A perfect climax came when J immy John learned to walk again, and mother's story of his accomplishment was sold to the movies. When our cheerful, cherub chum rode across on the closing curtain he was well satisfied. The kids had gone to the big harvest dance and mother sat gazing at Poppy's picture. While leaving the play, the tiny voice of you know who beamed from the enormous crowd with the words, From all the seniors and all concerned I would like to say thanks so much to Mr, Warren Richard, Director: Priscilla Shaver, Student Directorg Bob Bunker, Student Producer: Bobbie Ryder, Karen Milligan, Promptersg and to all those whose work on the committees helped make this production such a success.
