Owing to some circumstance which we are not able to account for, the proceeds of our Junior exhibition were not as much as we expected, therefore, our class was unable to help us financially, as they might otherwise have done. Nevertheless, they have given us the best support they were able, and we undoubtedly owe much of our success to this fact. We feel, however, that certain members of the class must be criticised for their utter lack of any responsibility in regard to class affairs. This carelessness has its effect on other members of the class, and soon the class spirit is ready to have its grave strewn with forget-me-nots. This absence of class spirit has made it very difficult for class officers. 'We hope '00 will not be afflicted thus.
