South Pacific ls Musical Hit The musical show South Pacific was presented March 11-13. Tryouts were held January 10- 11, and cast members were chosen by three factors: singing, acting, and dancing abilities. All of the cast did a super job and all of the main characters, such as Jill Jones tNelliel, Bob Richardson tEmilel, Renae Mor- way tLiatl, Stuart MacAskie tJoe Cablel, and Eva Bornefalk tBloody Maryl let their talent show through on the Kentwood stage! The show was a big success with about 1,500 people attending and enjoying the dancing and singing. Many felt this was one of the best shows ever performed at E.K. Everyone seemed to enjoy both doing the show and watching it. The hard and long practices weren't always easy to cope with, but the results were well worth all their efforts. tAl Jeff Jenkins trying a new dance step. Large Turnout Enjoys Prom The Junior-Senior Prom was held Saturday evening, April 30, in the Kent Room of the Grand Center. Pro- viding entertainment was the General Caos , playing our theme song We've Got Tonight . The Colors picked by the Junior Class were silver and pink, and the flower was the pink rose. The evening turned out to be a success with party favors of a silk pink rose, many refreshments along with VanDyke Studio to take couples' pictures. This will certainly be an evening for all the Seniors to remember - Thanks, Juniors!!! QA! Rhonda Crum and her date set their mood to the music while Steve Larson and his date swing it up! QB!
