Although the East Senior High Basketball Team has another year to wait until they face an opponent, some ofthe East players can be seen playing for this year's high-riding Henderson Warriors . John Bruno has been an important part ofthe Henderson varsity's quest for a ChesMontCham- pionship. Jim Hill, Kerry Bartley and Steve Nlayo have contributed to the success of the War- rior's J.V. Team. Standing in the wings waiting for next year's action are: 6'6 transfer, Jerry McCormick, Big Al Greene, and Larry Westley. Several girls here at East have competed for West Chester this year and will form a strong nucleus for East Senior High's gym- nastic team next year. The girls' dexterity, coupled with superb gymnastic equipment, promises ateam of great potential . Boy's gymnastics is made up of six events: side- horse, floor exercise, vault- ing, parallel bars, still rings, and horizontal bars. ln each of these events the gymnast makes up a rou- tine consisting of moves he has learned and mastered. Hockey Several girls who at- tend East were on the Henderson girls' hockey teams this year. The teams had a good season and were greatly assist- ed by East girls.
