Theyanswer the phone, assist the students who come in, and help to keep the nurse's office clean and in order . Gym aides at East this year did not helpwith classes as much as simply helping out Miss Wright with equipment and doing odd jobs . Next year the girls will help Miss Wright with classes . In the guidance and main offices , the aides assist the secretaries in many ways . Filing, running errands, giving out absentee sheets, and doing general office and clerical work are some of their duties . The library aides are the ones who run around getting the books on the shelves, checking in books, checking out books, and as- sisting the librarian, Mrs . Russell, whenever they can.
