They sponsored the Unus Rogans Drive, ticket sales tor the spring and fall plays, the activity book sale, and the annual sales campaign. ln addition they built a strong sense of loyalty within the student body and an awareness oi the importance ot democratic ac- tivity. Miss Edna Lenicek was the faculty advisor tor the council. Advising committees were Donald Davidson, Miss Gertrude Bceyink, Mrs. Eleanor Ketcham, Austin Perego, Miss Marjorie Laubscher, Miss Florence Black, George Leelol, Mrs. LaVonne Cady and Miss Esther Oleson. Other otticers in- cluded Vic Walters, vice-presi- dentf Donna Musarove, treasurery and Carol Kernmerer, secretary. The tirst and third Monday morninas iound the council busy planning activities lor tho student regular body. Besides these mornina meetings the council held a twofhour session once a month durina alternating periods. Fight Forward The halls of Troy echoed the theme Fight Forward as returning alumni were the traditional guests through- out the Homecoming activities. Festivities started with the auditorium preceding the annual grid game and ended With the dance following the game. Homecoming auditorium sparked stu- dents' enthusiasm for the annual game. Featured speaker was former athletic director Tom Lind. Crepe paper draped the halls and thundering players guarded the doors in preparation for Homecoming activities.
