of Leading School I. McMechan presents a certificate of honor to Arch W. McFarlane, veteran Iowa legislator, for his editorship of the 1903-1904 Orange and Black. Miss Minerva Cooper, sophomore class editor the same year, came from her home in LaPorte City as another honoree. Fifty years seems a long time, but when an editor of the O and B of fifty years aqo came back to ad- dress the student body, Trojans found that the years had not dimmed his enthusiasm for East Hiqh and its traditions.
