As the golden leaves of autumn began to fall, high school youth returned once again from carefree summer vacations to the halls of East High prepared to begin another year filled to the brim with study and activity. We remember the first few exciting days trying to become used to the idea of being inside all day and getting back into the habit of study. With the first nip of ,lack Frost in the air came the thrilling football games. The stands were always crowded with familiar plaid shirts and long-tasseled stocking caps. Our spirits soared as we cheered our Trojans to victory. We remember the homecoming festivities. the all-school play, where a bit of Shakespeare was tried, and the climax of the football season, the cver-thrilling East-West galne.
