Y A demonstration of loyalty and school spirit was the first maior event of the year, Homecoming. The usual theme, Knights to Remember, was elaborately car- ried out in the decor of the gym by decoration chair- man, Karen Jacobsen. Our master of ceremonies was Pat Halstead, Penny Monaghan took charge of the os- sembly plan and Melanie Harrell was responsible for the programs. Serving as guards were members of the Lettermen's Club. The Knightones and Knightlites en- tertained the court with musical selections. That evening a dance was held in honor ot Queen Carole in the East High Catetorium. Anita Chopp was in charge of this.
