Approximately fifty Bremerton Businessnen, fifty distrihutive education students, teachers and administrators attended. Entertainment was provided hy the East High and West High Music Departments. The President of the Chamher of Commerce was the hanquet speaker. Mr. Burton Persson is the Retailers Advisor. The Retailers in 1958 impeached all of their officers four times for not carrying out to com' pletion the legislation resolved hy the cluh members. The 1978 East High Retailers Cluh enjoyed an outstanding year of service to the school and to the community. Some of the major projects were the sponsoring of Cirl Scout Troop No. 35, the construction of a float in Bremertorfs Christmas Parade that was awarded first prize and F575 hy the Chamher of Commerce, the operation and management of the student store, The Knights Den, and the painting of large k'pep signs that were put up in the cafetorium in support of our Foothall and Baskethall teams. The husy and generous retailers donated a Thanksgiving hasket, gave money to the United Good Neighbors, the Bellringer and lead in the campaign in Bremerton for the lvlarch of Dimes. lvloney making activities included pickle and apple sales, a car wash and a school Carnival hooth.
