Sophomores break even, finish with 4-4 record The 1972 season for the sophomores was one of excitement and learning. Coach Bankus said, I enjoyed working with these guys ; they had a positive attitude and always wanted to go all out. I think many of them will be starters on varsity next year. Some of the victories of the year were those over Roosevelt, 66-20, and Tech, 42-0. An unfortunate loss to Dowling took place, 12-14. The sophomores played without the services of Rob Michelsen, who played varsity all year, and Tim O ' Boyle, who played varsity most of the year. The sophomore team com- piled a record of 4-4.
