Student Government officers Larry Eaton Fall-Spring President Jim Rehard Spring Vice-President Jill Smith Spring Secretary Warren Hunsberger Fall Vice-President Jill Smith Fall Secretary Kelh Riley Fall Treasurer New carpeting . . . new look Creating something for the stu- dents to do, as well as giving the auditorium a new look, are the ob- jectives of the 1971-72 Student Government. Beginning in the first semester and continuing throughout the year, money was added to a special fund to carpet the auditorium. Other first semester activities included the sel- ling of mums and having a car rally and car bash the day of Homecoming. Students participating in the October Lee Township March added money to the treasury. Trick-or-treating for UNICEF and rocking in the March of Dimes Rock-a-thon are only two of the worthwhile projects of Student Government. Second semester began with the depositing of $1654.54 in the treasury. This was accomplished by some 125 students taking part in the inventory of Topps Department Store. The annual clean-up. held this year at Easter Lake on May 21 was the Earth Week activity With another Lee Township March and the selling of shamrocks for Muscular Distrophy, the year ended with new carpeting for the auditorium. A yearbook is a photo-journalistic record of the school year that does not omit any school organization or major activity. This is the main objective of the 1972 Quill. In doing this the staff tries to convey a feeling of the school by showing different people in different situations. Although snowed under with work, the Quill Staff feels they ' ve done their best to convey this feeling to you.
